You are welcome here!

Welcome to Christ Church Davyhulme, particularly if you’re looking for a church to call home or want to find out more about Jesus.

Going into a church for the first time can be a daunting experience. But we’re a friendly bunch of all ages and we’re passionate about our local area. Davyhulme is well-placed for work, schools and family life; and it’s also a great place to experience God’s love. We believe we are loved by God and want to make him known – across the street and across the world.

So, if you’re in the area and are looking for a church, come on over or get in touch.

Come and say hello one Sunday, 10.30am.

Welcome to Christ Church

Our vision

We love Davyhulme. We’re blessed with green spaces, vibrant schools, flourishing businesses and plenty to keep us entertained. But we want more!

Our vision is to see Davyhulme thriving spiritually too.

Our heart is for the people of Davyhulme, and our focus is on sharing God’s love in a very practical way.

We want to be the hub of the community; the place you turn to, whatever season of life you’re in. So we make it our aim to befriend anyone who comes through our doors.

We want to share the good news of Jesus across the street and across the world because he has the power to transform lives. It’s the best news anyone can hear.

Who’s who

Our PCC

Our wonderful PCC works alongside these people to enable us to play our part in God’s mission to his world, to ensure legal compliance with charity and church law, to care for our buildings and gardens, and to be a channel of consultation with the wider church. The PCC represents our church family so they’re always happy to talk about any ideas or comments you may have.

Our PCC members are: Barbara Gardom, Brian Osborne (deanery synod rep & PCC secretary), Deovonne Ferreira (electoral roll officer), Donna Gadsby-Westlake, Emily Buzza (deanery synod rep), Graham Morris, Lydia Grimshaw and Nigel Chitambo.

And the rest of us!

Here’s a snapshot of the rest of our church family. We’d love to meet you one Sunday.
